About Tourism New Zealand
Tourism New Zealand is the organisation responsible for marketing New Zealand to the world as a tourist destination. International tourism has grown to become New Zealand's largest earner of foreign exchange with over 3.7 million visitors arrive in the country every year.
Tourism New Zealand have a team of around 150 staff in 13 offices around the world. Their marketing activity is carefully focused on a number of key markets around the world and a select group of consumers within those key markets. With one of these offices being located in Shanghai.
Shanghai Shout
Tourism New Zealand has been a host organisation of the Shanghai Shout Competition since 2016, and one of the 2016 Shanghai Shout Winner’s now works full time in Wellington for Tourism New Zealand based on her internship experience in Shanghai.

Favourite thing about Shanghai: The beautiful Huangpu river that is always
bustling with boats, barges, and ferries. I have fantastic workmates I was well-
inducted and given decent responsibilities, I learnt heaps.
